Our walls are blank in the new apartment. The only "nice" looking art I can contribute is the Kozyndan print of the bunny tsunami and an old Fillmore poster of Swingin Utters/Pietasters/Bosstones in a parody style of old style barbershop haircut poster. I might frame the Common Rider promo poster, actually, that's a nice photo. Oh, and I guess have some of my own photography that I'm still fond of.
I think what I lean toward is neo-retro stuff: not exact replicas of vintage art, but something done in that style with modern allusions. But not ironic. What I like about the Kozyndan print is that its got this postmodern flavor without being sarcastic, which I think will work well in the bedroom, but what else to go along with it?
I want to find the Futurama faux-communist-propaganda tin wall hangings because I think that'd be a funny thing to hang in the office.
